Stone Laying Ceremony Marks Commencement of 132 kV Amarpur-Dhungesanghu Transmission Line Project
Taplejung & Panchthar, Nepal, 4th February 2024, a significant milestone was achieved with the stone laying ceremony for the 132 kV Amarpur-Dhungesanghu Transmission Line Project. The event took place in Panchthar, Nepal, symbolizing the commencement of this crucial infrastructure development.
The Nepal Electricity Authority, serving as the client, proudly oversees the project, while the esteemed contractor, Cosmic Electrical Limited, has been entrusted with the responsibility of executing the project’s vision.
The 132 kV Amarpur-Dhungesanghu Transmission Line Project is poised to play a pivotal role in enhancing the region’s power system reliability upon completion. This vital infrastructure initiative aligns with the broader commitment to fortify and modernize Nepal’s electrical grid, ensuring a resilient and efficient energy network.
Mr. Anup Gautam, the Project Chief representing the Nepal Electricity Authority, expressed his enthusiasm about the project’s potential impact. The ceremony was graced by the president of rural municipality and the residents of the project area.
