Cosmic Electrical Limited and Nepal Engineers’ Association Sign MoU to Empower Engineers and Strengthen the Engineering Ecosystem
Kathmandu, Nepal — Cosmic Electrical Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA), marking a significant step toward fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional development within Nepal’s engineering community.
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Mahesh Mahato, Managing Director of Cosmic Electrical Limited, and Mr. Subash Chandra Baral, President of the Nepal Engineers’ Association.
Key Areas of Collaboration
Under this partnership, Cosmic Innovation Center (CIC)—an initiative of Cosmic Group—will provide co-working space and ecosystem support to engineer and architect entrepreneurs nominated by NEA. Up to three professionals per cycle will be supported for a period of six months, with a total of six beneficiaries annually, enabling them to transform ideas into viable ventures.
In addition, Cosmic Electrical Limited will serve as the Title Sponsor of ACECC 2026 (Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council Conference), scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on 22nd, 23rd, and 24th April 2026. The conference is expected to host engineering professionals from 17 countries, positioning Nepal as a hub for global engineering dialogue and collaboration.

This MoU reflects a shared commitment between Cosmic Electrical Limited and NEA to go beyond infrastructure development and invest in human capital, innovation, and leadership within the engineering profession.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mahesh Mahato emphasized that empowering engineers and nurturing entrepreneurship is essential for sustainable nation-building. Mr. Subash Chandra Baral highlighted the importance of industry–association collaboration in creating opportunities for young professionals and strengthening the engineering ecosystem of Nepal.
